Pernille Wager is born and raised in Denmark and through her artist father, beauty and design were instilled early on.
Pernille has found inspiration in the clean lines of her native Scandinavia, and through extensive travel since child hood, these inherited sensibilities have mixed with other great cultures, colors and native artistic techniques. India, Morocco, Kenya and Mexico are some of the places where Pernille loves to absorb the visual rich traditions and utilize the local materials that impact her work. Through wanderlust, it all comes together.
Educated at mass College of Art in Boston and Parsons in NYC, Pernille, fresh out of art school spent several years working with NY designers like Lisa Jenks and Robert Lee Morris. She then embarked out on her own. It’s a fascinating journey.
